Hello and welcome to BookManner (yes that is a weird word!). First the introduction: I am an old-fashioned reader: I need the printed hard copy (though I am also having to adapt to the e-book version). I am also a lazy reader: I cannot keep up with a schedule nor can my reading match the speed with which I love to buy books (as far as my wallet allows). But books are meant to be read: no matter how fast or slow, difficult or easy, thick or thin. Hence bookmanner: the practice of reading books (just an imaginary word. Quite a different story why it is not titled BookWorm!).
Below is a quick guide to the content of the blog. The books themselves are a variety-some come from my field of theological studies; others are secular non-fictions; some others fictions. The blog posts are not necessarily strict critical reviews, but a little of a summary, a little review, a little of what is interesting and a little of what I learned in the journey between the covers, through and among the pages. I hope some of these inspire you to go and read the actual book. Thank you for your time!
